About Us

Kristen Johnson founded Wise Marketing Strategy in 2020 to provide leaders of education companies and institutions with senior-level marketing expertise for a fraction of the cost of hiring someone full-time.

She has 20 years of experience working in marketing, including eight years in the education industry. Prior to starting this company, she led the continuing education division of Babson College and spent over a decade working at advertising agencies developing campaigns for Fortune 500 companies. Her marketing strategy specialties are in brand strategy and integrated marketing with experience in traditional advertising, digital marketing, and marketing analytics.

 

She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and son. She is a proud mentor to edtech startups for the StartEd and LearnLaunch accelerators and a member of the Future of Higher Education community. She is a Board Member for her town's education foundation and a former school council member at her son's elementary school. She is also a member of the North Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Tiffany Whitcomb has nearly 15 years of experience in the education industry as a former CTE teacher in Business and Entrepreneurship at the high school and Running Start levels. Her unique background in both business and education offers a diverse perspective. 

 

During her time as an educator, Tiffany established a solid understanding of the needs of students, educators, administrators, and the school district. She has worked alongside both community members and collegiate partners to help expand opportunities for her students. In addition to working with Wise Marketing Strategy, she is the Founder of Collaborative Teaching Solutions, helping alternative teachers navigate licensure and their transition to teaching.

Outside of her love for education, you'll find her on the golf course, skiing in the mountains, or at home with her family. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three daughters, and Vizsla dog named Brewski.
