Close to 4 million businesses started in the United States in 2020 during the global pandemic. And Wise Marketing Strategy was one of them. We started the company to support small businesses in the education space help more people teach and learn in incredible ways. We recognized that small businesses led by their founder need the help of a senior-level strategic marketer to help expand their businesses, but they can't afford a full-time hire at that level.
Our mission is to support entrepreneurs by expanding their education companies' impact on people's lives and communities.
About the Company
We are passionate about entrepreneurship, education, and marketing, and that's what we get to do when we work with our clients! We partner with founders of education companies who recognize the value marketing can bring but don't know how to execute it themselves and can't afford to hire a full-time senior-level marketer.
We join their teams as a fractional CMO, developing, executing, and measuring integrated strategic marketing plans that are connected to business growth goals.
We understand marketing is a significant investment for businesses at this phase, so we show short-term results while working towards the long-term. And there is no commitment to working with us. We charge a flat monthly fee as a month-to-month subscription.
Our work ethic reflects our company values:
Meet the Founder
Kristen Johnson founded Wise Marketing Strategy in 2020 to provide founder-led companies with senior-level marketing expertise, for a fraction of the cost of hiring someone full-time.
Her father has been an entrepreneur for most of her life and led her to Babson College, the #1 school for entrepreneurship, where she spent eight years - four as a student and four as the managing director of marketing for their continuing education division. She spent over a decade working at advertising agencies for leading companies, including Bank of America while at Hill Holliday, CenturyLink while at Arnold Worldwide, and Wyeth while at the kaplan thaler group.
She lives in Massachusetts with her husband and son. She is a proud member of Hey Mama, a community for entrepreneurial moms.
